My friend and I had a great meal at The Black Rabbit. From the starter to the main course to the dessert, the food was well prepared and tasty. The service was great too, particularly the barman who went above and beyond. It is a cozy place in a very beautiful setting. All in all we had a overly experience here. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous location. Amazing views. Food - good pub standard, excellent pies. Unimaginative menu. Friendly service. Welcoming fire. Lots of dogs.

gorgeous riverside setting with castle views. plenty of outside seating. recommended for that alone! part of the interior is set up as a coffee shop. ample parking. food a little overpriced. great summer pub

Great food and enjoyable visit with family including 2 children under 4. Everyone was very happy with the food, and I would definitely recommend it. We visited on a raining Saturday lunchtime in January and booking is a must (including the highchair). Because it was so busy, at times service was a little slow, but always friendly and considerate (and we were warned when booking). Great location by the River Arun. Enjoy!

A really lovely pub. Menu was great, beer selection very good. In the summer the location would be stunning but unfortunately we went there on a rainy day though we will certainly return in a few months. The staff were a final layer on the whole experience and really made us welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Some friends said to visit the pub in the summer when it's at its best but to be honest, it was pretty darn good on a grey and rainy day
