The Parsons Table is a place where friends and family can meet to enjoy a delicious meal & balanced list in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Story

The Parsons Table was conceived four years prior to it's December 2015 opening over numerous bottles of good wine with family on a warm summer evening in the wine region of British Columbia, Canada. Lee & Liz Parsons have worked in the UK & Canada in some of the leading hotels and hospitality companies for the past 20 years since their meeting at Claridge's Hotel, London. It's a strong team ethic with a focus on the entire dining experience that makes the Parsons Table a special place where guests like to return. It's about creating great flavours on each plate without compromise. The philosophy is simply seasonal, delicious & bold. A warm welcome, delicious food, a balanced wine list and friendly but discreet service.

This was a great surprise…nnLunch at The Parsons Table in Arundel.nnThe seasonal food was fantastic. Innovative, tasty, well presented. There’s real talent here. Friendly service which was both professional and informative. The dining room was small, with a nice vibe.nnI could have eaten everything on the menu which was complemented by a number of ‘specials’ too. And the warm treacle tart with lemon thyme & passionfruit ripple ice cream the best I’ve ever had. A real stand out amongst many.nnThree courses for £39.50 is an absolute bargain for cooking of this level.nnWorth the trip out of London, which combined with a tour around Arundel makes for an excellent day out.nnHighly recommended.
What a gem hidden in Arundel!nnWe went for the 2 courses and it was well worth it. Delicious light dishes that leave you feeling satiated without feeling greasy.nnI would definitely recommend the salmon for the starter and the catch of the day was the perfect second course. The reason I have given the 4 stars instead of the 5 is due to the lack of goats cheese on my starter but that’s personal preference! Give it a try and see what you think.
Fine dining without the stuffiness a rare thing. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are warm and funny. We felt completely at ease from the moment we walked in.nnThe wine list is well chosen and reasonably priced too, which always feels like a sign that a restaurant has its priorities in the right place.nnLoved it. Can't wait to go back.
The food, service, and atmosphere were simply fantastic. Parsons Table offers an excellent menu full of modern British options. In addition, there is also a specials board full of delights. We visited for my Mothers birthday lunch and will definitely be heading back again soon. I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Arundel to also visit here for food, wine and cocktails.
We had a wonderful meal at The Parson’s Table. The service was warm and knowledgeable. The food was exceptionally cooked with delicious flavours - my husband thinks it was the best cooked duck he’s had. The highlight of our trip to Arundel, highly recommend. Thank you!
