Visited with my Mum and Aunt. The food is a bit pricey. However, our portions of food were very big. I couldn't even finish a cheese and pickle sandwich. The amount of cheese was very generous.nThe staff were friendly and chatty to all the customers. Especially the red headed gentlemen behind the bar.nHe is shows great potential with his exceptional customer service skills.nWe will certainly come back again.
Nice place, with very friendly and quick staff. The food was good and the desserts too good to share : Only thing for us was the portion sizes for the price. You can tell you're in a very touristy area. But, we recommend it if you're there!
Roast beef for two and was so impressed! Best roast I’ve eaten out for ages. Served quickly, warm, excellent food and great portion. Would recommend and will definitely go back - thanks.
A nice pub and a good stop for a Sunday roast. Each one comes with a parsnip, roast potatoes and giant Yorkshire pudding, and on the wide with a serving of cauliflower cheese, broccoli, carrots and mange tout peas. Speedy service and has a sun trap beer garden at the back so there is plenty of space.
Great pub, good tables inside and a beer garden at the back that seemed popular!nHad a chicken burger, a cheese ploughman's and a ham ploughman's. The portion sizes were massive, in a good way! We had to take some of the ploughman's home, it was so delicious, couldn't leave it behind. The burger was gorgeous and the pink slaw was delicious. In my words to the waitress, I felt sick but in the best way! Food was so good, I ate too much past my being full up!nThe only issue I have is that the baby change is quite high up and leans a bit downwards.
