Racist owner she kick us out there after 30 mins after ordering .It was absolutely packed and full of people. She said that that they were closing. But they were not. I had the feeling we were not welcome at all. Very unpleasant ,as we were the only foreigners there, I can only figure what it means... we didn't have time to finish our coffee and cake when she kick us out of there. never again , waste of money hope she uses that for suppositories herself

We went with children as a bit of a celebration. The staff were good but the food was disappointing. There wasn't a kids menu I had to ask without any explanation on prices and the chicken nuggets were good chicken breast ones but there were 3 very small ones. The sausage looked like it had been cooked in a deep fat fryer... burnt to a very unappetizing brown on the outside but thankfully not solid. The cake was tasty so that's what led to 3 stars but I wouldn't rush back sadly, despite it being local.

Really lovely coffee after good walk around the castle and banks of the Arundel. Do not miss. Also useful respite after tackling the fantastic bookshops in the town.

Food is always great.but had to wait over 45 minutes for breakfast, Today!! Had to buy more hot drinks waiting for it to arrive!!! Which l think should have been complimentary.. Might have to watch how they treat their customers and Beware of complacency.

I'm hugely disappointed. We've been taking all of our foreign visitors and friends for a real English breakfast there in the past five years. Well, it's more than likely it will never happen again. We haven't been there for a while but a couple weeks ago we had a friend visiting us first time in the UK so we decided the best place to see and have a nice real English breakfast -again- would be the Moathouse. When I was about to pay, it popped into my mind that I actually have a full,completed - 10 stamps ( meaning 10 times breakfast) loyalty card and also one with already 9 stamps on it. When I wanted to exchange it for a free little breakfast I was advised that ' they don't do loyalt cards any more'. Fair enough-as I said we haven't been there for a while- but if we've already been there minimum of 19 times it would be just so nice to offer any kinds of gesture. Well, never again. I gave 2 stars because the food is still nice. I'm sorry we wouldn't be able to visit this place again without a bitter taste.
