Story

The Norfolk Arms hotel has a wealth of history and heritage. It’s a charming Georgian Coaching Inn, built over 200 years ago by the 10th Duke of Norfolk. It soon became the local meeting place and a popular resting spot for weary travellers. To this day the Arundel Society for the Prosecution of Thieves and Felons still hold their annual Dinner at this Arundel Hotel - a tradition which dates back to the 18th century.

The Norfolk Arms hotel is set under the battlements of Arundel Castle and has an atmosphere of traditional permanence, the kind that prevails in all the gracious buildings that make up Britain's colourful heritage.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Arundel! In the middle of refurbishment and we had a brand new room which was beautiful! Only thing needed was a shower as we only just had a bath! But we were assured that showers were getting installed. It's an old building so we totally understood. Staff were all lovely and breakfast was included which was very tasty. Continental to start followed by a freshly cooked full English. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Paid £118.00 for a double room the room was not nice at all dust all over the room coffee up the walls if anything it was not worth anymore than £50 would never stay again. No hot water for a shower either day we were there. Staff lovely. Breakfast was a good selection of food. Cooked breakfast, fresh fruit etc. Coffee was like dishwasher and no cream

I run an annual convention here and it has always been good. However, this year, it pulled out all the stops. The staff were exceptionally efficient; If I asked for something, it was there immediately. The food was excellent and so was the service at meal times - we were chuffed to be served a dessert inscribed with our 'name' on it. My room, this year, had a proper lighted mirror in the bathroom, so I could actually see what I was doing to put my make-up on. This hotel is right in the heart of the town, so everything is within walking distance.

Lovely stay very friendly staff, rooms ok, lovely clean bedding, bed very comfortable. Breakfast great too

Lovely hotel in the centre of arundel. Try the norfolk tap which is a microbrewery pub in the hotel. The beer is great.
