This place has become my go to pub. The staff are friendly, beers good, clean and in these weird times they're bending over backwards to meet government guidance. If you live local, hell even if you don't give it a try
Really good price for real ale, nice staff and decor. It's in the student area of Liverpool and gets very busy at weekends but that always adds to the character of any pub. We was happy it was quiet today though as we just fancied a quiet pint and some good conversation :

Loved this place. Feels like far from the mad crowds of town but its not - its couple hundred metres from the Philharmonic . Not to busy but plenty of characters in there - got served with a smile. Lovely decor looks like a pub. Reasonable prices, basic food was lovely. Couldn't want for anything else from a Liverpool pub
