A fantastic pub and well worth a visit but the cask line up is full of popular big hitters which is a pity when there are so many local brews about. Saying that I did have a pint of the locally brewed Neptune Sea of DreamsService: 5/5
Just around the corner from the bombed out church, this is a great spot to stop for a pint. The big windows and open doors were letting in plenty of sunshine and warm air on a beautiful late March day. Great draft beers and cask ales to choose from and friendly folk. What more could you want in a pub?Service: 5/5
Very good Liverpool pub about 10 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. 6 cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a porter. A few tables outside to the rear most of them covered. Not too busy 90 minutes before the Spurs game at Goodison Park. The pub was once a Tetley's house called The Grapes and that name still survives on a sign above the bar.
Excellent pints of Guinness on a beautiful summer evening , sitting outside, watching the world go by. Nice friendly service, too .Service: 5/5
First visit, and will definitely be back! Good selection of beers. Didnt try the food, not even sure if they serve food but will find out soon.Service: 5/5
lovely pub on renshaw st. not the cheapest in town,£4.80 for the guest beers, nice pints of white rat and never a frown. £5.20 for what looked like a good pint of Murphys. Bar has a few bits of the old ljmu Pharmacy inside it. lovely staff
Just popped in for a quick drink. As it was early in the day not many customers in. However staff were friendly and I'd say would have a great atmosphere. Old fashioned place. Nice to find a place like this as not many left.Service: 5/5
First time visitor despite having worked Liverpool for years somehow missed on various pub crawls. On this trip possiblity the beer of the afternoon was from the Liverpool Brewing Co on their great range of cask hand pumps. The bar is extensively stocked including craft beers. Very interesting interior, seats outside to watch the world go by! Friendly staff just a great pub!
One of the best pubs in Liverpool for a Guinness, great atmosphere and lovely staffService: 5/5
Haven't been here for 3-4 years, it is my go to real ale pub in Liverpool. The White Rat didn't disappoint, it was lovely but there were only 3 ales on and the ale board had a list of football matches on it!
