Superb hotel. Easy to find. Spacious and comfortable room overlooking a golfing green. The bar area is comfortable, with a good selection of Gin.!! Excellent restaurant, helpful and friendly staff. There is a golf course here (a good one by all accounts) and the blokes in colorful pants and jumpers added a bit of comedy effect. Myself, am not a golfer, but the hotel is well worth a stay..!!

The entrance in reception receives a warm welcome from host and at the desk also. With clear instruction on how to get to my room also as there can be a little bit of a walk from front desk to your room. The bed was comfortable, firm with very comfortable cushions and rooms was not overly hot or cold but just nice. I ate at Sam's which had their specials for each evening. Recommended unless you want to spend in excess of £20+ for drink and main. But otherwise great atmosphere. Would recommend again.

Beautiful location. Very attentive staff. Unfortunately I felt it was a bit old and worn in places, our shower had no power at all, the toilet glugged for quite a while after flushing, we didn't say anything about it as we were only there for one night. The bed was very comfy and the bedding was clean. I would recommend that the cleaners look up as there was a lot of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. But all in all it was a lovely place and the breakfast was amazing.

Spent a night here for a work conference event. The facilities are of a high standard. Good catering, excellent buffet style lunch and morning nibbles were served. Staff were helpful and polite. The main hotel bar by the reception is very grand and luxurious, with a wide selection of beers wines and spirits. The complex is rather sprawling encompassing several buildings connected by corridors and walkways, so only downside is that it can be a bit of a walk to your room

I really liked playing golf here over a weekend. The staff are very friendly and always willing to go that extra mile. Played all three courses over the weekend and it was definitely work the money. Pro shop is well stocked and is are reasonably priced co considering the location and reputation of the belfry. The courses are all well maintained and grounds men are friendly. A large site with challenging holes all around. Will defiantly go again as soon as I can. It's just on my doorstep and well worth it. Good value for money and if you ever get the chance to play at the belfry then do it.
