Cheap, little and clean rooms on first floor of a pub which offers live music every night. However, music does not disturb and the folk offers a social entertainment always welcomed. Real British popular atmosphere and the music is high quality, either live music or karaoke. Good beer in the pub.

Proper friendly pub. Always packed. Friendly staff. Good selection of beers. Handy place in the northern quarter. Prices more reasonable than a lot close by. Might not be as trendy as some bars. But it’s s lovely place for a drink.

Like a comfy pair of shoes. It makes you go ahhhhh! . An old fashioned welcome, an oasis in the desert of fake Mediterranean bar/bistro/coffee shops..It reminds you that you're in the North West of England not the South West of France.

Always worth a visit. A proper pub, with real people and decent beer.

The only place in the NQ with any sort of character. Full of adults, not adult babies..NQ hipster freezone landlord always says hello and I have never seen any trouble there
