First off, staff were excellent and friendly. Went above and beyond with trying to help me find sizing of the items I wanted. Had great chats with multiple people. Always a smile or laugh to seen or heard around the shop.nnSecond, Had the most incredible time with Nigel Winterburn on the legends tour. What a great experience to be able to walk the grounds and get to talk to a ex pro who also loves the club.nnFirst time visiting, but I hope it's not my last. Thank you everyone. Til next time
The Club Has Vision. The Armoury Does Not.nnI flew in from Seattle specifically for the parade and wanted to visit The Armoury one last time before my flight back home.nnBefore joining the printing queue, I asked a member of staff how long the wait would be. An hour, maybe an hour and a half. Tops. That’s what I was told. So I joined.nnWhat followed was 4.5 HOURS of wait.nnThe queue started inside the store and moved inch by inch toward the back, eventually spilling out into the stadium area. Still moving inch by inch. Then we reached a door, and for a moment it felt like we were nearly there. We walked through it, only to find another long queue waiting on the other side. Inch by inch again. Finally, we looped back into the store, and that’s when the snake lines appeared: 60 to 70 people, right at the very end of all of that.nnHere’s what makes it so difficult: once you’ve stood in a queue for an hour, you don’t leave. You’ve already invested the time. You tell yourself you’re nearly there. You stay. That psychological trap is real, and a well-run operation shouldn’t put customers in that position, especially after promising them an hour and a half at the door.nnThis is really not a hard problem to solve. Every mid-range restaurant has cracked it. You walk in, give your number, and they text you or hand you a buzzing device when your table is ready. You go shop, grab a meal, enjoy the neighbourhood. The same technology exists for retail. Give people a place in the queue, send them a text when it’s their turn, and let them actually enjoy the experience instead of standing in corridors and stadium tunnels for half a day.nnAnd here’s what stings most: the sleeve patch took 15 seconds to print. 15 seconds. A simple express lane for patch-only customers would clear a massive chunk of that queue instantly. Someone made a decision not to do that.nnI love this club. I bought a flight across the Atlantic to celebrate with fellow supporters. Arsenal right now is a team playing with intelligence, intensity, and real purpose. That same energy needs to show up off the pitch too. A supporter who makes that journey deserves far better than 4.5 hours trapped in a queue that keeps revealing itself.nnWe are better than this. i just really wanna say thank you to the kind staff who helped us find my grandad's plaque. we weren't too sure if it actually existed, so asked and someone had a laptop with the database of all the engraved stones and their locations. it DID exist and the amazing gentleman showed me a map of exactly where to find it. it really meant a lot and i am absolutely so grateful for the staff going out of their way a little bit.nnthank you so much!
Wonderful experience! Especially if you have a passion for the club. Surrounded by loads of merch and stylish new kits, any Arsenal fan will feel like they're in heaven. The shop has a great retro look but also gives a very modern feel too. Not easy to create that look and vibe!
The staff are outstanding, this is what customer service should be in any industry. They are friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. Absolute 5 stars for the service alone but of course it’s also about The Arsenal #champions !
