Great store. Different levels for each gendernVery very good music whilst you shop. Excellent customer service by one of the young ladies on the older kids section. Also the gentleman on the mens section. Very helpful staff. Thank you guys.
This is a great one for any sports enthusiast that comes to the city for a visit. You get great vibes in a nice atmosphere and of course great, high quality sports clothing, shoes and anything else you might need to get a great workout in. And if you only come for the vibes you won't be disappointed!
I just have to get this off my chest. Today, I ventured into Nike Town Oxford to buy an item that wasn’t available online. I dreaded going there, and here’s why – this store has absolutely no concept of customer service. For someone like me with autism, this place is a nightmare. The loud, blaring music and the feeling of eyes staring you down at every turn make it unbearable.nnNike Town Oxford is one of the few chains that sells quality items at a premium, and as a loyal customer yes, I include myself in this, I expect a certain level of service. Most people come to window shop and enjoy the experience. But if you so much as glance to the left or right, you’re met with the piercing, untrusting eyes of lurking security guards. Then there are the lanky sales advisors swaying to the music, doing absolutely nothing but guarding their territory. No one greets you. No one offers to help.nnI didn’t enter the store to upset anyone, believe me. I was actually happy you had the item I was looking for. I was happy... and then this happened. Enough is enough.nnI wandered up and down the escalators three times looking for the right size. The only assistance I got was from a security guard who asked, “What do you want?” Really? I ended up changing and re-entering the fitting rooms three times, and the only interaction I had was a security guard barking, “How many items?” as I was already half-naked in the stall. I mean, these gym bros with swanky haircuts need to calm the heck down. It’s just a shirt, lads.nnThe whole experience felt like a passive-aggressive game of hide and seek. I know the discounts are good, but come on, guys, it’s a store selling clothes, not a high-security prison. How about a smile and a hello? Is that too much to ask? You have to laugh at the absurdity of it all.nnAs for me, I will not be coming back. I know my absence won’t hurt your sales – if anything, it’ll keep the status quo at your store, which you seem to do best. But for me, it’s empowering to go to autism-friendly stores where I don’t have to play hide and seek with security guards. So, Nike Town Oxford, keep doing you. I’ll be happily shopping elsewhere.
Not really a fan of Nike and I have not been in this store for 20ish years not sure it has been open that long but it has been some time Surprised that nothing has really changed, surprised that Nike now sell casual wear, but very impressed by the range of inclusive mannequins, I've not seen larger male or females in a sports shop before, mannequins in wheelchairs with prosthetic legs and pregnant. Of all the things this is something that would potentially make me come back to Nike.
You will definitely get something to buy here when the price drops to 50% off.
