A welcoming and informal bar in a student area, open from breakfast ’til the early hours. A great place to relax, meet new friends and join in activities such as quizzing and retro-gaming. Drinks and food were excellent. My Guinness was, however, spoiled by being served in a straight non Guinness glass. Anyone who knows their Guinness knows that this is a no no. The pub had a good atmosphere though, we'd booked a table for 6 hours. Used the app to get orders straight to the table that arrived quickly despite the pub being busy.
Overall a nice place to eat, definitely a "sports bar", but a great location for some food and drinks. The menu is you're typical pub food style, with burgers, grill selection, pizza, and small plates. This venue lacks the personal touch as the ordering process is via an app, with only the server bringing you what you order, which I'm not the biggest fan of. There also alot of TVs around the place, which is great if you're wanting to catch the "game", but isn't ideal for date night. Lovely venue, with a pool table and beergarden, definitely worth a visit. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the majority of sections on the menu, however only one or two per section. Parking: There is only parking on the street outside of the venue. Check the signs wherever you park, however I believe the street rightoutside is free after 18:00hrs.
I had the BEST burger I ever had in my whole life. Great ambient, good vegetarian selection. Beer was good prized. I stayed in glasgow just one night and i went twice. Vegetarian options: Vegan burger was good!
Our first visit to Ark. First impression when we walked inside. Very nice and clean. Very spacious. It was 12pm we went and it was quiet but we liked it. Cameron is a lovely girl. Very helpful and friendly too. We ordered one portion of skin potatoes chips very small portion I must say. Two portions of chicken wings. One Hot n honey buffalo sauce and sour cream and Korean sweet siracha sauce. We preferred hot and honey buffalo sauce better. One pot of tea and one cup of hot water with two slices of lemon. We will definitely coming back again and would recommend friends to come here.
Had a great boozy brunch here. The food is amazing and in great portion. The drink choice is various so we get to try some cocktails. Great place for a gathering. There are some construction works going on because it was a weekday morning, the staff kindly reminded us that but we insisted to sit outside because the sun was just lovely.
My first time in Ark and it was really good! We sat outside as it was a lovely day. Food, pints and cocktails. What more do you want? the food was amazing. We had the pizza cone, some fries and chicken wings. Good value for money! I also won two free pints from order brew dog!! We will definitely be back
Was served by a lovely bartender called Andrew. His service was quick, and he always had a smile on his face. Will be back again As long as he is the one serving us!!!Service: 5/5
The first time I went to the ark I was ecstatic to find the service was on point. I want to say one server in particular helped out so much. Not only was he happy to help he was also available. Special shout out to Andy or Andrew for the service. He was a real one.Service: 5/5

5 of us had a fantastic late afternoon /night on Thursday! We arent students but the Drinks, food and service were great even though they had a function upstairs and the football on. Always one of our favs and our go to place.Recommended dishesBeer Garden, Chicken Wings, Nachos, A Pint of Beer, Burger, Loaded Fries
