A lovely bar! We went for the pub quiz and it was brilliant. Staff were friendly, the bar was clean, there was a fire and the décor is lovely. A good and calm vibe. Drinks are a bit expensive and drinks need to be poured a bit better -amounts are meagre. For example, a Malibu and coke small glass are poured half-full with coke-on-tap. This is why it's a 4 star review not 5
Amazing bar! Kids are allowed. The atmosphere is cozy because of the dim lighting. The food is delicious the best macaroni and cheese I’ve ever eaten. The chips are also very delicious!! The best pub I’ve ever been in!
Nice bar with some awesome live music. We went there twice. Friday nice with live music was actually awesome, which made us come back on Sunday evening for a dinner. And as long as fish and meat was delicious - potatoes served with it were frozen, that’s why there is only 3 stars.
Cozy Pub with super service and great food. We got 2 different bar snack scottish eggs and pork belly. For the main course I got Steak Ale Pie with mash, it tasted really good
We were looking for an “original” Scottish pub experience, and stumbled upon this cozy place. Definitely worth a recommendation, super cozy surroundings with delicious food, and good service. The food is for the whole family we even had children with us.
The best Sunday pub lunch I’ve had in Edinburgh! Every element was delicious and the selection was excellent. From 3pm on Sunday they have live music which is a lovely background to the meal too, not too disruptive. The only reason I dropped a star is because as we were first into the bar, it had a clear Saturday night bar clean up smell which wasn’t nice. Helped when more people came in.
Nice bar & friendly staff. Enjoyed the barony beer. We had mushroom arancini & the haggis balls. The arancini was great. The haggis balls were okay, friend really like them but I wasn’t really as keen. Thought they looked much better than they tasted.
Great atmosphere and welcoming staff, food was fantastic with the beer battered fish and chips outstanding and plenty of good portions. Recommend a visit
Great atmosphere bar, music just right so you can have great conversations and plenty of tables and stools.
Solid little bar with good food and service. Nice selection of beers
