Stayed here for 2 nights, fri and sat night. Rooms are ok, a bit tired, could do with a freshen up and modernised. Free continental breakfast which was very good. Restaurant on site which serves very nice food and would highly recommend eating here while staying in the hotel. A good bar offers everything with lovely staff.
Fantastic as akways. First time we have managed back since the Coachman has been allowed to reopen following lockdown and it did not disappoint. Fantastic food and fantastic service. One way system, distanced tables and other measures in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Will be back again soon!
Decor and the service were good and the quality of the food was fine. However the Katsu Curry didn't have a Japanese curry sauce and instead tasted more like a Indian chicken curry sauce. Also not enough sauce and too much rice. Plus chicken breast hadn't been butterflied.
Had a big family dinner here. The table aren't really suitable for wheelchair users as they can't sit close to the table. We were a group of 12 and the table layout meant that we couldn't talk to the half of the group. The portions of the food was good and the choices were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very good. Meals large portions. Tasty and well presented. Prices reasonable. Young staff were very professional and polite, a credit to the hotel. Definitely worth a visit.
Don't think I've ever had a bad meal in here. Always great service, good atmosphere. Looks amazing after the refurb.
Lovely relaxed meal as always. Food is fab. They have also decided to keep the eat out to help out going through September. Win win.
Long standing favourite local pub & restaurant. This review was written during the COVID 19 restrictions & there have been plenty of measures put in place to make all visitors feel safe & welcome.
Excellent service as usual. Felt totally safe given all of the precautions in place. Staff so friendly and efficient. Will hopefully continue to remain open as they certainly deserve to do so.
