The staff were really friendly and accommodating. I rang to enquire if my family (20+ & age range 4-80s) could come for a meal together with only a few days notice. It was after an emotional day -it was my dad's funeral. 
The service was excellent -we all ate together. The food was very tasty. The staff were caring and fab - listening to our individual needs.
Would thoroughly recommend 😁

The one day the Steak was *great* on the point and the next day same time not so... but still very good quality! Would like to give a half star more.... but might be next time a full star! Hope I get the chance!

Me and my partner came here at lunch time and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We sat at the front of the building where the locals where chatting at the bar. Very olde worlde inside but doesn't feel unclean. We both ordered a burger and we were asked how we would like it cooked - which is always a good sign. The food was delicious.

A nice pub with great food and reasonably priced drinks; the Alma is suitable for a quick drink or an evening meal, the food here is very tasty and not too pricey. It gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights so unless you like a very lively atmosphere it's best to go on another night for drinks as you may find you can only get a seat outside. If you are eating then there is separate seating away from the main bar. Overall the Alma is a nice pub with a friendly, lively atmosphere that is very popular.

Cracking pub! Food delicious, I had battered haddock. It was the fish of the day and was really tasty. Friendly welcoming staff who where up for a bit of a laugh and had personality. I was driving so didn't drink but looked longingly at the real ales they had on tap. I would recommend a visit.
