Have a share in the pub and I'm really glad it is still with us after initial threat of closure. New Tenants are doing a great job. Lovely garden that overlooks Ottmoor. Food is excellent as are indeed the staff.

A very relaxing gem of a pub, tucked away in a quiet village a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Oxford city centre. Whether you're a walker, cyclist, or simply want to relax- this place is just right. Good food and a good range if wines, beers and spirits.

Great place for a drink and to eat. Mind your head with the beams!! Something for all eaters, veg, non-veg and vegan. The staff were lovely, couldn't have been more helpful. Cosy atmosphere, no noisy slot machines. Rustic decor, comfy seating by the bar. I enjoyed the local beers, well kept. Loved the Gents...old style. outside and round the back. ...in the snow!!!!

Really excellent pub. Excellent food, great drinks, very friendly staff. The garden has a phenomenal view over Otmoor. And the pub is dog friendly!

An excellent sustainable menu which was handled very well. My roasted cauliflower and duck dishes were gorgeous. Very cosy and lots of locals at the bar lending the pub a warm atmosphere. Attentive service but they hadn't picked up our request to book a table so it was lucky they had a table. So glad to see it open again and running smoothly. Best chips in a long time too.
