They's no obvious place to go to when you go in to say you have a table booked! Waited at the bar hoping the woman would acknowledge us, went round the corner to ask a man behind the bar where to go and HE spoke to us right away, even though he was serving, and he said to go to the front where we were originally. Watched 3 people being served in front of us who weren't there originally when we first arrived and in the end we guessed we had to then go and queue behind these people at the end of the bar on the left! She could have told us when we came in! Better still there needs to be a sign to tell you that you won't get served unless you stand at the left hand side of the bar! As there was no one there when we arrived we didn't know where to queue!

I'm a massive fan of the Bowyer Arms; it has so much for a family with its fast food production, large pub garden with climbing frame and the Radley station on view which fascinates the train-enthusiast child. It's also great for watching sport with several big screens, broad beer range, and great seating. We've even used the pub for PA meetings, which it's great for too. The food is not haut cuisine, but it's solid pub grub and the menu is interesting enough - the burger selection is my personal favourite. Last but not least, the staff are ace. Always.
