This pub has changed hands a few times since I’ve been going but the current owners know what they are doing! Good variety on the menu including vegan options, quality homemade pizza and very yummy burgers. Their roast dinner is the best I’ve had out and I’d highly recommend it. It’s not pretentious, but has a lovely atmosphere with real fires and friendly staff. They never seem to be understaffed either. I’ll be going back.

I love this place, everything you need from a good local... A place to drink with friends or a place to have great food. The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is just what every quaint local pub strives for. Great for dog lovers too. A fine example of a modern English Pub.

Nice dishes, reasonably priced in a nice traditional pub setting. Staff were very professional and food came out in good time for a working lunch. Will definitely go again.

Had the excellent fish and chips, my wife had the skinny bird which was excellent too. Lovely place - relaxed, good food, also very friendly, quick service

Nice menu, good service, some vegetarian options, some vegan options but sadly only starters and mains there was no vegan desert option (other than sorbet😕) Service was lacking on the Sunday compared to the fantastic service we received on the Saturday afternoon.
