Had the whitebait starter and ribeye main. Both brilliant. Simple, tasty food which stands up by the skill of the chef. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Friendly bar and decent ales.

This was our first pub after landing in England, so the beer and crisps were just what we needed to get the party started. Nice place & friendly people. Good beers too. We know now that the beers w/the long handle are pulled directly from the keg and are also served at room temperature, whereas the beers w/the short handles are served cold.
