The toilets were cold and not particularly clean. Also all trains were delayed and only a small number were actually continuing journeys, all the others cancelled, due to electrical faults at Gatwick area. Ridiculous. I couldn't get to my tantric massage appointment. I was frustrated
City Thameslink was built as a replacement for the Holborn Viaduct station. The station was opened in 1990 as St. Paul's Thameslink, then was renamed to City Thameslink in 1991 to avoid confusion with the St. Paul's tube station. It was the first station to be constructed in Central London for over 100 years.
Well how is my first day that I am coming I found it beautiful
Wheelchair friendly as you can get up to the ground level with a lift. There's also a slope to avoid stairs to get to the street.

Sleek, easy-to-navigate station that has regular Thameslink trains and never gets too busy.
Ticket machine not accepting pounds of sterling!
