I've been with Tesco pharmacy Ferndown nearly 3 years now They work under enormous pressure and still serve me with a smile, politeness and a genuine care I receive my big list of meds every month. Tuesday I had a rushed prescription I needed urgently Ipratopium nebuliser viles on Tuesday night the pharmacy went beyond everything to help. Me I was so touched . Thank you to you all, extra thank you to the pharmacist Tuesday evening. Keep up the good work you all our very much appreciated
They could not be bothered to dispense an urgent prescription for antibiotics and strong painkillers and they lied about it. They misinformed us and denied me access to my prescription, because the locum pharmacist they had that evening could not be bothered to even check how my surname was spelled and just told my husband that my prescription was not issued. This then led to a catalogue of misinformation and breach of confidentiality. Eventually the next day, so almost 20 hours later and after an ordeal that lasted 4 hours of my husband running around, waiting extended periods of times, they eventually figured out how to download an electronic prescription. It only took them 20 hours, two locum pharmacists, many phone calls, my husband driving to another pharmacy that supposedly was "blocking" my prescription.
Very poor service, almost always your prescription is not ready. My Wife collected her latest prescription for glaucoma prevention drops, and was told that her usual brand was " too expensive" and was given an inferior version that adversely affected her eyes. The upshot was that the GP issued another prescription sent to a local pharmacy that fulfilled the original request immediately. Another lost customer Tesco..well done
Really poor service. My wife went in five days ago to pick up my prescription, only to be told that all of the tablets were not there and to come back later. Today I made a special trip to pick up my medication. I was told that it was not ready and to come back in an hour. I believe that five days is long enough notice to prepare a prescription. Some of us have busy lives and do not have the time to keep returning to the pharmacy.
Wheels have fallen off. Worse pharmacyin the area. They are now quoting 7 to 10 days to get your prescription ready! And recommend that you go to Sainsburys 1.5miles away if you want an urgent prescription. Thank goodness our medicines are for life threatening conditions. Tesco head office need to urgently look at the lack of organisation as it drags their name through the mud. Maybe Lidl need to open their own pharmacy chain. Might wake them up.
All the staff are so helpful and nice and always take the time to talk. The two pharmacists Andy and Tandau always go above and beyond and always take the time to explain new medicines and also always follow up with a phone call to check that new medicines are serving there purpose. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this pharmacy
Waiting times too long for those who don't need to do shopping. Maybe have a separate area for prescription meds collections, separate from the area where people are seeking advice? Some of us have busy work lives and Tesco needs to recognise that.
Rubbish half the time don't have what you've been prescribed. And you have to wait 30mins minimum to get your stuff every time! Try calling ahead and they don't answer the phone.
Andy is fantastic. He has a poorly arm but troops on eith a smile. He is understanding and compassionate.
Brilliant service and they make it so easy to order repeat prescriptions.
