Smallish Boots Pharmacy located within larger Sainsbury's supermarket. Friendly staff and service with large free parking associated with supermarket. Great for prescriptions or pharmacy products

Throughout the lockdown my wife has been very ill and required loads of medication, some which have nasty side effects. The young pharmacist in this branch is extremely compassionate and very knowledgable. He has a genuine concern regarding my wife’s condition and always steps out to make sure I fully understand the medication and am aware of any side effects. I know they have had to work under considerable pressure throughout COVID in this branch , however the two pharmacists have both Provided an excellent service.

As a mobility scooter user, I found this tore to be most difficult to navigate as the aisles re very narrow and the corners too tight. I will go back and give it more time as i was after after shave and I could not see it in the short time I was there. I will ask next time if some kind sales assistant would be so good as to retrieve it for me. I am very happy to give any store a second chance to redeem themselves!

Incorrect opening hours shown, the pharmacy shuts between 1pm and 2pm. If you question it with the staff you’re rudely told that it shows the correct hours on the NHS website, however that’s many pages down when searching ‘Boots Ferndown pharmacy opening hours’ on Google. Unhelpful and rude staff, won’t be using again.

Always busy. Always helpful friendly and approachable staff. I have been going here for years. Next door to sainsbury. ...very handy. Parking and public toilets. Chippy other side of roundabout. 5 min drive to town centre. Great place to visit.
