Story

Built around an original 17th century residence Tankersley Manor oozes character and old English charm. With Yorkshire stone walls, wooden beams and open fires it has a welcoming, home from home feel. It has 98 bedrooms, each with a character of their own. The Bar & Brasserie serves great local home cooked food and there are a range of private dining options. Enjoying full leisure facilites with five spa treatment rooms the hotel offers day and overnight spa packages. The hotel also has 12 flexible meeting and event suites which include a purpose built events centre with private parking, entrance and reception area for up to 400 delegates or functions/weddings for up to 300 people. If that wasn’t enough it is ideally located just one minute off junction 36 of the M1 with extensive free parking.

Had a great stay. Lovely room very clean. Excellent customer service. Fabulous food. Great choice for both dinner and breakfast. Fantastic spa facilities. Prices reasonable. Had a choice to purchase dinner vouchers for £20.00 and you get the value for £28.00 which we did really worth purchasing and great Idea. Definitely go back to this hotel again. Highly recommended

Can't fault it. My friend and I stayed overnight (with a spa package). All staff members were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Making our first stay at Tankersley Manor a very pleasant one. Relaxing treatments, tasty food and comfortable rooms. It was easy to get to and close to the motorway. We would both happily stay again.

Nice location, good venue to have a family party. Function room can accommodate for 50 people the one we used. Helpful staff. Number of bars located within. The hotel provides a nice country heritage feeling with a touch of class. Do recommend people to visit. Though not much else to see thats near by, apart from the M1 😊.

What a lovely Yorkshire hotel nestled in am ideal location to access the m1. It has great facilities and the food is lovely. Spend a day at the spa and really treat yourself.

Beautiful little country style hotel. Good room for families. Has a cosy little pub on site..breakfast top notch and even has big function rooms. Even saw a helicopter pad there too
