Lovely country pub. Comfortable very clean room with superb shower. Fabulous poached eggs for breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Well worth a visit.

Popped in for lunch after a walk this weekend. Good menu especially the ploughman's which really hit the spot. Shocked at the beer prices though, almost £5 for a pint that would cost about £2 for the same beer at Wetherspoons, that just seems wrong and made us feel a bit 'taken for a ride' as while you might expect to pay a bit more in an out of the way country pub, it shouldn't be double. We'd still go again but would stick with soft drinks. Definitely not a place to visit for just drinks unless you like paying over inflated prices.

My husband and I had a great meal (roast beef with all the trimmgs). Really lovely beef, & fluffy creamy mash & the roast potatoes were crisp on the outside and so fluffy on the inside. Perfect Yorkshire pudding with a selection of veg. Topped off with rich beef gravy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming as was the atmosphere.

We had just been to Wentworth Garden centre to see Santa, and decided to finish the day with a traditional Sunday roast . So pleasantly surprised with this little gem of a place ! Service with a smile and attentive. Good family quirky pub .Food was not only fast but of good standard . ( veg cooked to perfection ! ) not soggy! Thank you we shall return. 3 very happy stuffed bellies. .

A very popular pub in Wentworth, South Yorkshire. It's busy during the day and relaxed in the evening. There is quite a variety of meals on the menu, cooked to perfection. All in all a very nice atmosphere.
