One of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Right off the bat they had a function AND a party going on & it seems both they & the staff have priority for parking, not actual staying guests, meaning we had to park outside the hotel down the road (which we were told to do). The lady at the reception laughed it off when we mentioned it being a bit silly not being able to cope with their own guest numbers. Continuing to the room, the chain latch on the door was broken & the sharp metal sticking out caught & ripped a fairly expensive coat. Then there was the 'dance through the decades' event - fair enough they host fun parties but I could hear the music clearly from the 4th floor until gone 1am when we were told it was to be finished at 12:30pm & had to ring reception to remind them that their own event should have ended 30 minutes ago. Drinks from the bar were basically expensive water. If there was any real alcohol in there, it was trace amounts. To top it off, you have to slam the doors to get them to shut properly which disturbs everyone plus a loud, high-pitched alarm went off about 3am for literally a second & woke us all up! Thanks for that! Waste of money!

Me and my partner got a weekend away voucher from a family member for Xmas so we booked this hotel. The whole weekend was ruined 1. No double bed in double room only three quarter beds 2. No staff on either bar very under staffed 3. Food from hotel very poor steak pie was dry and cold 4. Jacuzzi not working 5. Finally NO HOT WATER Absolutely gutted we have wasted our voucher

Good facilities here for company training! The service could be a little quicker. Perhaps they could ask the training organisers what time they have their breaks so that staff will be available might help The food was good when it arrived. Realistic pricing too!

Excellent hotel lovely room very spacious and clean very comfy nights sleep and enjoyed the pool and spa but jacuzzi a little cold. Delicious breakfast and lovely waiting staff. Reception staff need a course on customer care but didn't spoil a lovely weekend stay 😀

Organised event... really poor quality...food was cold and no choice by time we got served...like being in school canteen..not enough staff on the bar and entertainment was poor
