Affordable, friendly restaurant with carefully-cooked food paired with lovely wine. Our waiter and the lady manager made time for us and ensured our experience was good. Still learning about Japanese food, I hope to return soon.Food: 5/5
Cannot fault the food - the flavours, the quality and portion sizes. Service could have been a bit more attentive, but it by no means spoilt the enjoyment of our visit. Just a shame we didn't get to see "Metal Mickey" the robot waiter in action, I feel slightly cheated! That said, will definitely again.Food: 5/5

Fantastic Japanese restaurant in the heart of Ipswich - certainly up there with one of the best that I have been to in the UK! Impressed by everything that we ordered - prawn tempura, cucumber, tuna, and salmon rolls, chicken katsu curry, salmon teriyaki, duck teriyaki, and even the bubble tea. Fast and friendly service, excellent value for money, and a lovely atmosphere, all of which makes this a great place to go as a group with family and friends.
have been here about 8 times , love it. have never disliked anything i’ve eaten here. best bubble tea ever too!! i recommend the miso-glazed ribs and the korean spicy chicken wings xFood: 5/5
Great dinner last night at Takayama, Ipswich for the first time. The food and vibe here is fantastic and there’s even a robot cat that brings cutlery to the table. We had some great sushi as our appetisers and would highly recommend. Service was a bit on the slow side but we did book last minute.Food: 5/5
Best sushi I've had for miles without a doubt and very reasonably priced for the quality. Most places the fish is ice cold and flavourless but it's so good here! Everything else was great as well.Food: 5/5

Food is delicious, never fails to impress!! Lovely restaurant setting too. Service is a little slow, and they sometimes book in too many tables it seems for level of cover, but that said it's always a joy going there for the food and atmosphere, don't go if you are in a rush, then you'll be great!Food: 5/5
