Food was lovely as usual. The portions are huge, so it's worth the money. The staff are welcoming.Food: 4/5
Good asian fusion place. The mini bao's with breaded fried aubergine and mushrooms are brain-melting tasty. No, really, try them. If I were to nitpick, the atmosphere is a bit "cold" and it's a bit pricey. Other than that, always a safe choice.
Gyoza we're dry and inedible. More like a pasty than a Gyoza. Ramen wasn't much better with coriander just chucked on top, not even chopped and so unable to mix herbs through the broth. We used to rate wagamama, but sadly not to the standard we have had in the past.Food: 1/5
Place is a must go, friendly staff and the manager there is very kind. They are welcoming and always on hand to help and assist whenever you need them. Even when busy food comes out in a timely manner and they always serve with a smile.Food: 5/5
We went to this place as we ran out of options for a pub with food service on after 9 on a Sunday evening. We definitely liked the food, the vegan sandwiches tasted superb. It has a nice ambience to it, being one of the restaurants in Buttermarket centre, you have many other things to do for a nice evening.
My friend and I came quite late when the kitchens were almost closing and the staff had already begun to clean the tables Despite this We were offered a menu so that we could eat. We really liked the service of the staff. We were asked regularly. Do we like food and is everything in order, does every restaurant take care of it!! I was very impressed by you and I liked the fact that this restaurant makes natural drinks or fruit cocktails. Vegetarian options: Before ordering dishes, the waiters ask what kind of food you prefer, if you have allergies or if there are any problems that you do not eat food. Kid-friendliness: Suitable for children to order food that is suitable for children. Wheelchair accessibility: I did not pay attention to it, but I think that in such an institution there is a place for those people who have some kind of restrictions, If it is about parents being able to come with strollers, I think that this is also possible.
After four or five visits its OKAY. If you are in the mood for the style of food and on the fly. Firstly we've always found it very clean, glasses, tables, cutlery etc, so that's good. It's a nice atmosphere/decor etc. The staff or service etc I have always found to be down to earth, casual, friendly and efficient. Its the food that's just really very average and doesn't taste authentic at all. From experience the starters are MUCH better than the mains. The dumplings are lovely. But in general we have had far better results elsewhere or cooking at home for less cost with better quality ingredients and MORE herbs and spices that bring the more authentic flavour than served here. For example the katsu chicken curry to be honest just tastes like a birds eye frozen chicken piece covered in a powder/mix sauce. It's served with 'sticky rice' but it's just an over cooked pile of mush at the end of the day. The ramen with crispy belly pork tasted clean and fresh so fair enough. But it just wasn't multi layered with flavour like you would hope. There wasn't much of the pork either for the price you pay. The highlight of the last visit was the rose lemonade which was just gorgeous. So all in all. Not really worth the money and I don't feel the need to try it any more. But okay if you are in a rush I guess.
Fantastic, as always. Our experience was made all the better by our brilliant server, Jax, who was attentive and chatty. He made sure we had what we needed and even recommended a nice tea. Dietary restrictions: Although we do not have any dietary restrictions ourselves, it's great that they have a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as catering to allergies.
First taste of gyoza, and of Wagamama, and really not impressed. Both dishes very dry and tasted old and bland. All the flavour is in the sauce, and it seems like bottled sweet chilli sauce too. Not a success. Never had gyoza before, but I won't do either gyoza or Wagamama again. Not worth the price at all. Easily the worst takeout in Ipswich.
Staff are always really nice and helpful. They have lots of really great vegan options, the vegan ribs, tofu firecracker, and vegatsu are particularly good. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options
