My impression is that the phrases such as ‘CUSTOMER SERVICE’ and ‘CUSTOMER CARE’ have no meaning whatsoever at Swansway Honda, Bolton! I booked my car in here a good week beforehand only to be told that I wasn’t booked in when I arrived, and next slot was a month hence. Reception made NO attempt to rectify THEIR mistake. I got the impression they couldn’t give a damn. I need my car for work and had taken a day off to travel for an hour to get there.

Couldnt have asked for a better service. We found two cars we wanted, one 20 minutes away in London, the other here, 4 and a half hours away in Bolton. We had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Paul Fletcher. The service here was everything it wasnt in London, which is why we chose Swansway. We had a personalised HD video of the car sent to us, the car was both serviced and had an MOT, and had some cosmetic corrections completed before collection, and the car was actually cheaper too. Paul was brilliant start to finish, no pressure at all, so friendly, and even heard the better half joke about having custard cream biscuits as a deal breaker. When we arrived, there was a full packet waiting for us!!! Paul arranged insurance for us to drive away, a no quibble 3 month warranty, and RAC cover IF we wanted it, but we felt reassured if anything went wrong after the 3 months, we would still be looked after, and it would be local to us too! A big thank you to the Swansway team, and especially Paul. This is how it should be when buying a car. No hesitation in recommending them in the slightest.

Sadly Swansway are gaining a monopoly position within the region, and with that comes an arrogant, couldn’t care less attitude. A smile and a cup of coffee is NOT customer service!
