Excellent pub with wonderful people, food, and drink. The beer and cider selection is outstanding. There's plenty of space in the garden and cosy corners inside. Our pooch was welcomed as warmly as we were. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning soon.
I and my partner had a fabulous meal here this lunchtime. The place is full of ambience with lovely lighting and decor and lovely, friendly staff. It's a great place to eat and drink, has a lovely garden though too cold and wet today to enjoy it!. I would recommend this place to everybody, even to the most discerning diner/pub lover!
It has been nearly 4 years since I last came to The Surrey Oaks. I used to be a regular with the classic car shows they do every so often and decided to come back and see what it is like since then. First credit goes to the staff. Your friendliness and attention to detail is on point. The service provided was that of a top end London restaurants. The food was brilliant, made even better after finding out the chef used to work at a Michelinp Restaurant. The Pub itself is beautiful and cozy, properly old school but minus the damp coldness you might expect. The Jukebox made for some additional fun entertainment. The food was cooked to perfection. The 8oz steak was incredible, Michelin quality. Travelled nearly an hour to come here with my partner and will definitely be coming back. Love that this is a family run place, the love involved is very clear. To management, you should be proud of all your lovely staff. I can hands down say that this has been the best Pub experience I have ever been too. Can't wait to come back!
Best craft beer selection for MANY miles around If you like proper keg beers, then you won't be disappointed! Will definitely be going back!
A fantastic pub in the heart of the countryside. 6 cask 12 keg. Quality food and great bar staff. Large car park and lots of outdoor seating.
Wonderful food, staff and great atmosphere. The garden seating was great in the heat! Also a great selection of beers on tap.
Had a fab meal here with the family.Service and food was great.Love the spacious garden area with plenty of seats and a cool play area for the kids to go mad in. Waitress's were friendly and helpfull.Would highly recommend and will defo return
We came across the surrey oaks whilst out looking for a pub with a garden to grab some lunch and enjoy the sunshine. I did not expect to find such a gem! It was a Sunday lunchtime and their lovely staff were absolutely run off their feet with orders yet they managed to squeeze us in and provide excellent service. The food was second to none. The garden is beautiful with a fantastic play area for the kids. We can't wait to come back.
Went to the Beer and cider festival over the August Bank Holiday. It was very well organised with social distances in place. Excellent food options health options in the day my husband had a ceasar salad and I had a sticky chicken and rice pot . In the evening an excellent Pizza wagon turned up and I have to say one of the best pizza I have ever tasted! The event was super enjoyable and a we would definitely come back for more of this kind of hospitality Big thank you to the owners and there hard working staff for a wonderful day
Now fast becoming our regular pub to visit. The homemade pie of the day was exceptionally good. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. A particular thank you to Maddy S who made us feel at home and looked after our table so well. The choice of keg beers was excellent and they were spot on for temperature & taste.
