Very friendly and accommodating pub. Beer well kept. It is very old so quite dark inside with low ceilings, but cosy with lots of atmosphere. Main course menu good although if you advertise greens that's not peas and dessert menu is a bit thin. Food is well prepared and burgers and pie fantastic.
Really good pub with cozy atmosphere. Extremely strongly recommend the chicken wings here, so good taste I never had in the UK. Reasonable price and good service!
Lovely pub, just gorgeous! Old style, small but very busy, good selection on the menu! Pies were amazing! Lovely deserts for kids only for £1!!!! No parking as it right in the middle of one way system in the centre of town, but parked near Lidl and the walk took us about 5 min.
Had a very good roast dinner here earlier. Nicely good beef, an excellent variety of well good vegetables. Staff friendly and welcoming. The lady in the orange top, maybe the manager, I thanked for my meal who didn't appear to hear and then engaged in a spirited conversation with a bar staff member. Gordon Ramsay style without the expletives! Well worth a visit for Sunday roast and England's oldest brewery Shepherd Neame.
Went to the kings arms for lunch. Wow! Friendly staff, lovely pub, nice atmosphere. I had a burger which was amazing. Very yummy but very filling. Also has some dirty fries which again were very tasty! I would definitely recommend if you want decent, worth the money food. I will definitely be making a trip back. Especially living in dorking! Hats off to the chef
Fantastic, a truly traditional old English pub, great menu and very friendly staff. I was lucky enough to served by a lovely lady who worked there last Thursday. Thanks for recommending the pea and mint starter!! See you all soon!
This pub is really interesting, it keeps a lot of its historical charm. The burguer we tried and the stake and ale pie were outstanding. We came back on a different visit and tried the hot dogs, unfortunately the sausage was rather dull and the bread a bit dry, therefore I wouldn't give a 5 star review
OMG! If you are undecided as where to eat at Dorking, I would definitely recommend this place for traditional pub food. I ordered the beef, ale and onion pie and it was delicious. Great atmosphere and beautifully decorated pub. I would definitely come back :
A big thank you and well done to all the KA team for fantastic service yesterday lunch time for our annual mountain biking ‘Whiskey Mac’ tour. Food was excellent, came quickly and all at the same time with admirable efficiency. Can’t recommend The Kings Arms enough.
Absolutely recommend this pub, loaded fried and burgers were amazing!
