A great little historical gem in Liverpool. Never too busy, helpful and friendly staff, great cookies and it's a lovely walk if you're around. If you're visiting Liverpool and have time to explore a little, this is a good option. If you're wanting a mini family trip, also a great option.
Very good museum. Excellent curation gives you a real feel for how the wealthy used to lived in Liverpool
Really enjoyed the visit free entry. Great history and the family who were rich shared their money by giving to the city of Liverpool hospital's/education. There are toilets on site and a lift to take any one who would struggle with the stairs.
Great place and things for children to do as well. Cafe is very good. Ramp and lift for those less agile.
Lovely house and grounds. Only limited by current situation.
Interesting merchant’s house and gallery. A few pre-raphaelites and a costumes exhibition. One of the City’s hidden jewels.
Interesting exhibition of local fashion model from the 50's. Photos though are part of the normal your and it's free.
Beautiful architecture from the outside and the inside, nice collection, lovely environment
