The house doesn't seem to look any different from the outside from when Ringo lived here. After his parents split up Ringo, or Richard Starkey as he was then, moved here when he was age 3 with his Mum Elsie. It was smaller than their previous house on nearby Madryn Street, but more affordable for his Mum. He lived here until his early 20's when he became famous with The Beatles. He even had his 21st birthday here with about 80 people in this two up two down with its loo in the back yard. The V above the door was put there to signify victory in WWII. The old Empress pub where his Mum worked as a barmaid is at the end of the street and featured on the cover of Ringos first solo album. It's a private house so don't be rude and peer through the window.

An historic landmark Ringo’s historic home. The large building down the corner is an old hotel where Ringo’s mother worked.
The mural is amazing! House very cool to see. The area around is a bit without to do. Nonetheless, worth it if you can make it over there!
Ringo Starrs home in Dingle. For Beatles fans it is a must visit.
You can not go in to the house. You can only look from the street.
Was a sentimental visit really. My mum was born in the Dingle. A few streets away from Ringo's house. The mural is absolutely brilliant. The guy in the pic is the artist. Well done mate
The art was nice at the end of the street but the house looked like it’s not been preserved. There is no sign etc. not much to see.
We only did a drive by, good to see it though.
