Cool to see the Penny Lane sign, the painted wall, and the painted crosswalk where you can replicate the Beatles album cover.
First surprise visit as had no idea this Trust existed. We were therefore lucky to catch the unveiling of John Lennon's statue , which will remain there till October. Great to see local news reporting on this event and to see Colin Hanton there too. Great souvenirs and will definately return when we visit from Lincoln
Wow memories of The Beatles came flooding back. Great walking down Penny Lane......then just around the corner seeing where Ringo & George grew up!
Was there with my wife on our Beatles Pilgrimage Tour from the states on 12 Oct, 2018. Very nice stop with a great little shop for souvenirs. I purchased 2 books there and they had been autographed by the authors. Great information. Colorful stop for picture opportunities.
Wonderful mural wall with Beatles street art. Features the promotional yellow submarine and a recreated Abbey road. Public restrooms are available and the gift shop had a good selection of souvineers.
Nice park with Beatles connections and references, including a wall mural, yellow submarine, zebra crossing I know, Abbey Road is in London, Sergeant Pepper bandstand though the original is in Sefton Park, octopuses' garden, etc. There's a shop too, and a community centre.
Took grandson's. Beatles fans.
Wonderful place at the heart of the Penny Lane community, run for the community. Love it!
