Small village pub, normally quiet, small selection on alcohol and softdrinks but it's to be expected since they only get the same faces in most of the time.
Was here for beer festival and was a little unorganised, as they ran out of glasses and change. However the rat pack entertainment and hog roast was good. Attracted a large crowd. Staff pleasant. Plenty of parking. Large garden. Lovely location with amazing views.
A rare and wonderful village pub. Nothing flash or fancy just good beers, ales and ciders. Friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely free house pub! Great selection of real ales and super friendly staff. Definitely dog friendly! Signs up for their annual beer festival as well and although haven't been before would definitely say it's worth a punt!
An unspoilt basic country pub offering changing range of real ales and an annual beer festival at the end of June. Good basic pub food is available Tuesday to Friday lunchtimes.
My brother and I stopped here after a motorbike ride. Nothing fancy, basic but welcoming and a proper old school village pub. in a world where all pubs are edging to be carbon copies of each other I don't see that necessarily as a bad thing as it has it's own character. The beer is very well kept and tastes excellent.

It's a really lovely wonderful place to go and visit and enjoy food and drink all of the staff team are very welcoming and friendly and helpful I will hilly recommend going there for a visit God bless you all my friend's and have a really lovely wonderful blessed weekend and a great week ahead take care of your selves and stay safe xXx
Meeting with an ex work coĺeague. Very pleasant pint or two, there are always at least 4 or 5 different ales available from ever changing breweries. I do not know how he does it? Good small choice of food, but always served up quickly and always enjoyable. Host is welcoming and friendly and customers are always welcoming as well. Best ham egg and chips anywhere.
Stopped at the Strathmore after a lovely ride around the local area. Great beer - obviously a well looked after establishment. It certainly quenched the thirst I had built up!
