Haven't been here for a long time since the 90's infact. Locals friendly great prices and very good Guinness. Clean and a good old fashion pub in hitchin. Congratulations too the landlord/landlady thanks
Was my sons 18th birthday this night. Brazil were 4-0 up, he was ecstatic as he and I are 1/8th Brazilian. The night started out a pleasant experience until 5 hooded men rushed in SAS style to the bar. I offered one of the gentle men a pork scratching but instead pulled out a sawn off shotgun and insisted I gave him my wallet. I refused as I was desperate for another bowl of delicious, fluffy, mouth watering scratchings. I then received a broken nose. I awoke in lister hospital with no wallet and I had lost my son. I would of given a 1 star review but those pork scratchings were what dreams are made of.
Very impressed with my first visit. Well kept pub with 2 pool tables and 3 dart boards. Great prices, £6.10 for a pint of Guinness and a small wine!! There are not many places around the area with these prices. Support your local.
They don't have any craft beer but the beers they do have are cheap. Just standard lagers on tap. Lots of football shown. Decent pool table and beer garden is much improved and now very nice.
What a great vibe and I am obsessed with their pork scratching, never experienced that before. This will definitely be my new local.
Lovely pub and good beer big beer garden as well
I went there to watch football outside yesterday early evening . I have only been once since the latest management change. And once since my husband died 4 years ago we used to be regulars and watched footie and seeing Scallywags perform My late husband and I had our wedding reception there aug2008 The outside area is much improved and I particularly liked the booths . They seem to have done an excellent job.
Been a long time since I last had pint at Molly's. Still a proper boozer and a great place for a game of pool. A dying breed of pub, let's hope enough people rock up to keep it alive.
Cannot praise this pub enough. After a few rocky years Claire has come in and turned ths place around. Beers are on point,The new garden is amazing and vibrant,Also dog friendly. The staff are all very friendly and the indoors is fresh and new. They all go above and beyond to make sure you have a good pub experience. Even show sports in the garden on a big screen tv. Its a 10 from me!
A blast from the past type of pub. Lots of sport on big screens. Definitely more a blokey pub. Doesn't seem to be overly trying to encourage women in. A young female bar staff who appeared she would rather be anywhere else than behind the bar.
