I love a good film and this authentic old-fashioned cinema didn't disappointnnI went as part of the Belfast Film Festival and the staff were so kind and helpful. The prices for the drinks, sweets and popcorn are all reasonably priced and definitely better than the mainstream chains.nnSupport your local cinema and independent movies.
Had a wonderful evening with my Mother 84yrs young. We went to see BELFAST in the UNIQUE STRAND. What a great place to watch this brillient film that awakened both our memories, good and bad. I always love going here but this time it was absolutely the right place to sit beside like-minded people in the heart of Belfast. I REALLY CAN'T RECOMMEND ENOUGH THAT EVERYON'E SHOULD GO VISIT THE STRAND' before it no longer looks like this. Take a look at my photo's - I especially love their Carpet!
I hired the first floor studio and cinema 4 for a private screening for a fundraising event. The staff were accommodating both beforehand and on the night. Their attention to us, their helpfulness and pleasant personalities ensured we had a successful evening. I would like to thank them and wish them all the success for the upcoming refurbishment. I hope it's complete in record time as we would love to return!
Lovely cinema, it's nostalgic feel is quite charming. Comfy seats and decent prices. Doesn't get too busy. Smaller screens so Wouldn't go there for a blockbuster like avengers 6 but no loss there
