Cinema is located on the road going into Aurora. There is a large car park so plenty of parking. The are I think 12 cinemas located in the complex, and a snack bar/kiosk located as you enter. The staff and friendly and helpful. The cinema has very comfortable seating that can be reclined at the touch of a button. The only issue I had was that it was very warm which made the experience a little uncomfortable.
This cinema in Bangor doesn't look much from the outside, but it's really nice once you step inside. The staff were dressed immaculately and the decor is beautiful. It's based on 2 floors and has a lift. The seats in the cinema are wide, recline and are very comfortable. There's plenty of free parking beside the cinema.
The recent upgrades to this cinema have made it a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. The reclining seats are a game changer! Although it's easy to fall asleep if you get too comfortable. The decor is very classy compared to other cinemas and definitely fits the D'LUXX branding very well. There's also free car parking on site which is always good
Went last Saturday. The first time since the revamp. The system for ordering food was unhelpful as the combinations on screen didn't suit us. We ordered at the desk but was told we should pay by cash despite there being a card machine there. I paid by card, though told to pay by cash the next time! I then had to move across to wait for our order. Service wasn't quick, 3 staff and we were the only ones needing to be served. I certainly wouldn't want to be there when it's busy. Found our seats, comfortable. It was cool in the cinema. Someone must have gone out and complained as the temperature was checked about three quarters of the way through the film. Need to standardised the heating.
Wow - what an improvement! The revamp has made this a lovely cinema - everything was clean, seats are so comfy and the spacing means people aren't banging into the back of your seat and no squishing up as someone tries to get past. Maybe prices have increased a bit but imo it was worth every penny. Loved it!
One of the best cinemas in Northern Ireland. The decor is truly inviting and the seats are the most comfortable you'll sit in. They also had the sense to increase legroom. No more getting kicked from the person behind.
Comfort 5 stars. Sound 5 stars. Experience 4 stars, only for the reason that it's not clearly marked that you have to order and pay for treats at a kiosk. Smile was a great show
Freezing cold inside the screens. Super expensive now they've all been converted to deluxe. Asked for a spare popcorn bag or something so we could share a large popcorn had our 2 year old between us only to be told no because it would mess with the stock count. Never heard the likes of it. Even offered to pay for a bag and was told no
Now I can’t say I love the increased prices since the refurb, I understand it was expensive but paying £12 per showing now is a hard pill to swallow. Especially when Tuesday nights you could get tickets for £6, paying for prices almost what use to cover two people is allot. That being said, the chairs and overall experience has really modernised the place and I have to say, it’s the most comfortable cinema I’ve ever been two and great when it’s only 10 minutes from my house. I just wish promotional prices could return as the subscription they offer, some months I don’t even go to the cinema so it costs me money. Wish Tuesday still had like 1/2 or 2/3 ticket prices.
Weird that I walked up to buy popcorn at the till and was told to order by the front door on this touch screen menu, witch took me a quick min, turn around to get the popcorn and was left standing for 10mins. The staff could of took my order and got it knocked out in a min at the till but noo they just made it a bother so their staff don't need to talk to you anymore. But nice seats
