Watched the new Thor on Sunday 10th July in Cinema 8. Projection was not sized to fill the screen! I’m no expert but I think this is an easy fix, if the projectionist was actually looking out the window. Also the sound was too quiet. Plus the room felt hot and stuffy as if there were no ventilation. We were all sweating in t-shirts. Hopefully you can see the screen problem on the photo attached.
Sadly my showing tonight had to be cancelled but the staff were very prompt to inform me and arrange a refund/ new ticket for a later date. I spoke with Chris who within one email was able to organise me a ticket to a showing tomorrow night. Delighted. Great customer service.
Wow, firstly it was the most expensive cinema experience of my life so far. We paid extra for better seats that were hard and straight backed like a school chair. The coke drink was flat and the popcorn was soft worst possible combination you could have Won't be back to this cinema
Great cinema in the heart of Belfast. Located in Victoria Square. Several screens, including 3D.. Brilliant selection of drinks and snacks. These include Tango Slushies, Nachos with cheese, as well as normals like Popcorn, chocolate, crisps and sweets.
Its a good theatre in the heart of City Centre. Very affordable prices as well. It would be good if more international flims like Indian movies are often showed over here
Always a nice cinema to visit. The place is always impressively clean and the staff very attentive. Only complaint would be the popcorn can sometimes be a little stale.
A good cinema, conveniently located - but some of the seating is tired and threadbare.
Saw that there was loads of bad reviews for this cinema so I was hesitant to go. Went today and was impressed. They have a wide selection of snacks and drinks including tango ice blasts, hot dogs and nachos. They only have lemonade in the bottles but they are refrigerated and cold. The cinema seems old tho it is clean. Toilets are clean. Seats are smaller than other cinemas but they are comfortable. Staff are very nice and friendly. When booking online the seating is upside down so what looks like the top is actual at the bottom closest to the screen. I would recommend going here. I enjoyed my time spent here.
Visited this cinema recently 26/02/2022. Took my two sons to see the film "Unchartered". Paid £64.96 for seats, popcorn, drinks and 3 bags of sweets. Did not mind paying the price as I believe you get what you pay for and Odeon having such a big name I thought we were in for an above average cinema experience. Unfortunately our experience was lower than I could have imagined. Thankfully I used the light on my phone to make my way to our seats. When I reached our seats I was amazed at what I saw. There was no way that I or my sons were going to sit on these. It took me maybe 5 minutes to find seats that I would sit on. The floor was sticky, the place was cold and seats were disgusting to put it mildly. I was so disappointed that I felt the need to email Odeon the next day. I am 50 years of age and this is the first time I have ever felt the need to a put a complaint in writing. Seven days later and no response. In fairness I do not know how Odeon could respond in relation to the image of the seats. There is nothing could justify or excuse this. If you are going to this cineam make sure and have a light to see where you sit!!!!!!
Fortune and cant get comfy in your ‘Premium’ seat. I have just sat in a normal seat and it is more comfortable
