Staff very friendly, relatively cheap in comparison to omniplex but place is a bit tired looking. Just be careful when booking seats as ti where you get them. This was the view when watching a film with the kids. I had to swap seats as from lower in the seat you could see even less of the screen.
Bit disappointed to hear more of the action movie being shown in the theatre next door than the film we were watching . More soundproofing needed or turn the volume down a little if there's a quiet film on the same time as a loud one. Everything else was fine . No queue to get in or grab pop corn and drinks .
Everything everywhere was so super sticky!!! Had to wash my hands before I left, and then I had to use sanitizer in the car because I got sticky AGAIN!!! It's as if everything was covered in syrup or there was sugar in the air?? Was so weird and bizzare. The staff that served us at the snack counter, very obviously had no training and didn't know what they were doing... Was very uncomfortable experience if I'm honest. The movie we saw as a family however, was great! Lol
My daughter and her friends visited this cinema, this was her first time out in a long time due to her mobility issues. Her and her friends were excited and giggling to which an older male member of staff was very rude to my girls to the point of tears, when I went down to find out what had happened I spoke to the supervisor who’d verbally abused the young teens and he tried to deny any responsibility of it, there was another young female member of staff who was so polite and understanding she was desperately trying to get him to remain calm with me as an upset mother I couldn’t believe how this cinema was treating me, my daughter and her friends where left in tears, disgusting behaviour overall. Will not be back
Only been to this place a handful of times and cannot recommend it. Visited fairly recently with my little brother and witnessed a rather disturbing event where an older member of staff was screaming and shouting at a young female member of staff in the halls between screens without care or decency of other people seeing. This upset my brother to the point we actually had to leave without seeing the film. Felt this was very unprofessional and you could tell the young girl was in disstress to the point of tears, haven’t seen her back and I’m not surprised considering what I witnessed.
Recently the cinema has went down under, only person in there is a lovely girl with colourful pink and green hair, being polite, while an older man was yelling and being rude to others, while entering the cinema its self I see that I'm not the only one that noticed the smell of weed, do better and treat your staff and customers properly!
Looks and smells like the 90's, take that as a good or bad thing however you please. Place is always empty so sometimes get a private screening of a movie, so not all bad!
Went to see new George Clooney / Julia Roberts movie on Monday night. We were the only two in the cinema. Great cinema but concerned for its longevity if everyone chooses the more popular Dundonald cinema option. We will continue to go to Nards and hope this place stays financially viable. Good movie by the way, quite funny ....
Brilliant cinema. Friendly staff. Concessions across the board are a lot cheaper than the cinema in Dundonald. Been here a few times lately & feels great to support the local cinema. Definitely go again
Nice atmosphere, nice staff good film and on crazy Tuesday it's a cheap night out. What's not to like
