I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Omniplex cinema and was blown away by the overall experience. Prior to this, I had always been a fan of Vue Cinemas in England and thought they were the best around. However, after experiencing Omniplex, my mind has been changed. The prices were extremely affordable, which was a pleasant surprise given the high-quality of the amenities. The Maxx screen was the largest and clearest I have ever seen, and the seats were incredibly comfortable. The audio was outstanding, fully immersing me in the movie and making it feel like I was right there on the big screen while watching "Avatar: The way of Water." I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the theatre and the friendly staff. Overall, I highly recommend this cinema to anyone looking for an exceptional movie-watching experience at an unbeatable price.
Normally a very comfortable cinema but this time the heat was sweltering then cold when turned off and the music from a much more action-packed film next door was clearly audible we were watching quite a tranquil film. This was in Screen 10. Also, why no concession rate for over-65s, as my companion was?
Just back from omniplex dundonald. Went with my wife & grandchildren to see "the amazing maurice ". Film was really good quality cartoon. The cinema was lovely & warm, the seating was so comfortable I had a 5 minute doze. Lovely afternoon out . Staff were friendly and helpful with our tickets. Look forward to returning soon Stephen
It is slightly better than lisburn, though it has those annoying self-service machines that are not exactly touch sensitive, nor make it easy to use. There were two machines that I could see, and it takes forever to use it and queues, very quickly form.
Nice and clean. Comfy seats although not overly warm - kept my coat on throughout the film!
Went to see the new avitar brilliant showing ! Only thing there wasn't any visible staff when leaving , just if there were any issues but all good !
Standard cinema experience, on a more recent visit I was surprised to see the level of self service, buying tickets and ordering snacks at kiosks that only take card, then going to a collection point to be served the snacks. I find this a rather odd system and unfortunately it reduces human interaction and rules out use of cash, not ideal for the older population. I did ask if I could pay a cashier and was told I wasn’t able to. I was also surprised to see the large combo deal had been removed yet a medium was available. There were no large popcorn or drink options at all. I’m not sure why it is named medium if there is no large, makes no sense. Anyway here is a photo of what I received at a cost of £7.10. I was absolutely shocked at how small it was and definitely felt unsatisfied and ripped off.
Well set out, ease of excess comfortable seating.
A cinema is a cinema. And to be fair we have Netflix and Amazon etc in the house now, but a monthly subscription is 5 times cheaper for a family to go to the cinema now so that may be our last visit. £55 for the film and a few add on drinks etc. Bent over comes to mind. Even the restaurant beforehand was cheaper!!
Great place took my grandson on his first movie he loved it
