Stayed in privately owned small Marina boat house through Simply Owners site. A lovely well equipped place, very comfortable and quiet with a balcony and view out to the lake. Well recommended for a couple.

A beautiful little terrace to sit and watch the boats in a sunny day. Lovely staff, great food. Always a must visit place when in Bowness.

We come here at least once a year. Unfortunately they have decided to demolish part of it. 8:15 this morning the excavators and a machine that pulverises rubble started up. Not the quiet break we expected. You might want to check the status of the works before booking.
