A rather basic but convenient station, recently had an updated ticket collection machine installed and the ticket office is manned 6:00 - 12:00 on weekdays. I used one of the ticket machines to pay for my parking and it was very temperamental with the coins; kept rejecting some of my £1 and £2 coins and other change. Platform 1 is on the other side of the station whereas platform 2 is the first one you step on to - a bit odd; as I would've assumed it would be the other way around.
