A normal train station which is served by Southern rail trains with trains going to Brighton East Croydon and Hastings. There is disabled access to platiform 2. Station was clean and has long platforms.
I pre booked parking at the station using the APCOA website, when I arrived to the car park it was less than half empty. I arrived and left within the pre arranged time only to receive a £100 parking fine a week later. Turns out there are two very unclearly signed separate parking areas, one of which you are unable to park in even with prepaid booking, however there is no clear information about this when booking or in the car park itself.
Small village, lots of bungalows for retired buyers. Easy access to LGW, Victoria London and Ashford international. So, a good place for loving, commuting or socialising.
Coffee shop is very nice and the quality of the coffee is top notchnnBut there could be more bins there
Nice little town. Busy train station, local shops etc
