Stage Door

About

Live music in the heart of Waterloo. Always free entry.

Story

The Stage Door has been running an open mic every Sunday since November 2004. The following year it began hosting music on Saturday nights for groups and solo performers. Now equipped with a new sound system and mixing desk the Stage Door is set to continue this great musical tradition.

If your a musican who is just starting out and wants to test your skills in a live venue you can come along and sign up for the open mic on Sunday night anytime after 6:30 pm. For more established and experienced performers there is a chance to play a longer 30 min set on the once monthly Saturday live nights.

Great pub and very friendly and attentive bar staff. I normally visit alone, but feel valued and at home being here. The service is quick and the staff make all customers feel welcome. A hidden gem and I would highly recommend a visit here
The Stage Door is a great little back street pub with suberb staff. Been going there for years they go from strength to strength. Give them visit, you won’t be disappointed....
Good pub dealing with the lock down admirably staff excellent and outside drinking area is great
An underrated pub with a nice rooftop and awesome staff! Special shout out to Kirstina and the young male bar tender whose name escapes me - sorry!. The highlight was ending the night with an impromptu sing along which included the whole pub bar staff as well!. Thanks for having us and see you again soon!
I don't understand how this pub is getting away with charging £12 for an actual oven pizza. Service was also really bad. Massive slap in the face as well when you can get an actual pizza down the road for almost half the price at Crust Bros
A Sunday afternoon was not busy at all, so it was pleasant to have a quiet drink.
Great food and Atmosphere. Gem in Waterloo
Lovely pub but shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone!
