A nice pub/restaurant that has a good menu choice (including a kids menu). Had a steak night, which was reasonably priced and also been there for Sunday lunch. It does get busy on a Sunday so an early booking is best to avoid missing out on your preference.

Good food, Not cheap tho.
Not bad as an all rounder, you get what you pay for. Could really do with table service because the bar is slow and your food gets cold whilst you wait. Bottom line for us was one drink during the meal because neither of us was going to join the queue.

Great atmosphere, great food and a welcome smile everyti e. The only drawback is limited parking, but don't let that stop you from enjoying a "hidden gem" of Staines.

I booked this as we had a spa day at Pennyhill Park and wanted to eat nearby.
Staff were friendly when we arrived and we were showed to a table in I think the oldest part of this pub/restaurant, which is 600 years old in parts. Very low ceiling, original beams and just stunning.
I had the venison and suet for my main and my wife had salmon. Both were lovely and tasted very fresh.
My desert was coconut ice cream with toffee and peanut brittle. The picture does not do it justice. Wife's desert also lovely.
Coffee and cream for me finished off a lovely meal.
The staff were so friendly and genuinely appeared proud to be working in such a beautiful restaurant.
