An excellent bowling alley. The lanes are well maintained and of a good quality. The electronic system is easy to use and has a range of extra feature. Each Lane has their own cubicle styled sections which allow you to maintain social distancing while bowling and keep you separate from the surrounding lanes. There is also an easy to use online ordering system where you can order food and drinks directly to your lane.
Sounds the lanes are not maintained. No/not enough streaking oil and has not resurfacing regularly. A star was given to helpful staff especially was explaining the time allowed per game patiently. I played 6 games there in an hour.
First time here and we had a really good time!! Bowled 2 games. We ordered the burgers and they were good! I wasn’t expecting the food to be that good. The bar tender was very nice and and answered all our questions with a smile. Friendly staff is such a bonus!
Went to Bracknell Hollywood bowl.on NYE had pre booked a slot that was not available for over an hour. So many of the beverage machines were not working. Could not get a coffee or lemonade. We had 2 games of bowling but were only able to play 1 as the lane messed up and stopped sending the balls back. Had to leave my number to get called back for my refund however 3 days later still no call. Could not sort on the day due number of complaints. Will not be heading back and would not recommend
Great place, so much to do when it comes to arcades, bowling and food places. However there's always so much rush which means you have to wait up to 3 hours for a bowling aisle. However still is a great place to go when there isn't much crowding
When arrived with 30 mins to spare, decided to take kids in to arcades. Firstly there is a good selection of arcades however half are not available due to out of service with "Oops not working" signs. Only 2 of the 2p arcades games were working with kids queuing to use them. We used the air hockey game and the side fell off where the puck drops out. The men's toilets, baring in mind we arrived at 1130am, were filthy to the point I'd say they were not cleaned in days, one of the urinals was overflowing with wee, there was a board missing from under the sink which would normally hide the plumbing work, the 1 cubicle was a lake of wee and no sign of a toilet seat. I refused to let my 2 young daughters use the toilet and instead approached 3 members of staff to inform them they need to have the toilets cleaned ASAP and asked if there were other toilets we could use... no form of an apology, no attempt to go and check on the state I described and any cleaners to clean up, instead handed the disabled door key and told to use that. Reading through other reviews this is a repetitive issue going back more than 12 months. How many bad reviews will it take you to get them fixed and actually put staff on a rota to keep them clean. I bet your own staff wouldn't even use them ! The bowling lane we used had bits of tape holding floor together, the lane next to us broke multiple times meaning family had to keep stopping. I've been using this bowling alley for years but one thing is for sure they need a massive renovation/clean up and train staff in manners and customer service. Travelling from Reading so don't think I'll bother coming again till there are changes....
It is very dark inside at the bowling side, and the balls get stuck in the machine for several times, need some refurbishment. But the staff was quite helpful and resolved issues on time.
A very good place to out with your family or friends for a great time. The Bowling alleys are great and it was a nice experience for us. Would love to go once again.
We had a lot of fun and the staff were friendly. But I think we must got the bogey lane as it kept crashing when it was meant to be setting up the pins. Toilets left a lot to be desired. But overall, a nice place to go.
The birthday party from hell….. no assistance at all from staff, they forgot to cook the party food and when it arrived it was either over cooked/burnt and all the chips were cold. Our bowling got cut off after an hour even though I had to find staff to help set up and assist with the lane set up which took time out of our bowling. All 7 children went home disappointed and hungry! Don’t waist your time or money!!
