Everything you need, great produce, lots of parking and plenty of checkouts. Even a cafe. If I had to criticise, the cafe closes for food way too early and the parking gets very busy at the weekend as people park here for free to walk into the town. Overall, Morrisons is generally one of the better markets for price and offers some different products such as a salad deli and some unusual but great brands, which is nice.
Went to the cafe for breakfast as the premier inn up the road was having a refit in the restaurant, but my issue was I asked for a poached egg and smashed avocado on toast and got the response of We haven't got any? Apparently, the poached eggs come in pre-cooked? Never in my life have I ever heard of this, I mean pre-cooked? Do they get a fresh delivery every day for it? Just doesn't make sense to me and probably more to the fact nobody there could be bothered to do it, I mean it's not hard is it ‍ but thankfully i don't live anywhere near this morrisons and luckily for me my local one does make them and NO they don't come in pre-cooked ‍
Awful shopping at Morrisons latelynNo staff to get help fromnTills mostly self service only 2 tills on to actually service customer. It's gone into a self service shop with minimal staff on its such a slow and bad service.nnThe toilets have been abysmally discusting even after the staff say they've checked them, it's highly questionable on the standards there if they call those toilets checked.nnBreakfast there is often served at a cooler temperature than you'd get anywhere and looks like its just been thrown on the plate slow service in the cafe and I wouldn't mind but they weren't even full up it had 1 other table with people on. So again is questionable when it comes to high standards and hot food being served, because it really wasn't hot, vs the egg on my breakfast wasn't even runny.nnHealth and safety in the shop is NIL and the store manager Haris had absolutely not concern for me when I fell over all he could say was don't raise your voice, well sorry I am in pain no Morrisons staff came to help at all even though all my shopping had ended up all over the floor. It was a customer who asked me was I OK and helped me to get my bits back into the trolley. I am in absolute shock at this what was a high standard food store go so down hill with such poorly trained staff. When pointing out this was a health b safety issue it wasn't listened to at all and they just passed the blame back to me..nnI will be calling head officenPlus I had to request my accident to be put into the accidents book, the stand in store manager didn't offer once and only ask at that point if I needed a Dr or hospital.nnRather more shockingly the mgr asked mynDOB which isn't needed and goes against personal data and gdpr..nnMorrisons I have requested a call from the proper store mgr who finished his shift. Infact each time I've been in store and asked for him he has never been available to talk to so why the poster at the back of the store. Still I'm patient I'll wait for his call hopefully in the morning or call head office on Monday for them to address the problem
Ordered groceries surprise bag through too good to go app and received all expired items and most of them are rotten. Instead of throwing items in the trash, they put that in a bag and sell it through “too good to go” for money.nnOne of the leading essentials shop in UK selling rotten food through Too Good to Go app is really worst thing to do.nnYou’re not offering food for free, you’re being paid for what you’re providing, so please have some ethics.nnBread attached in the images shows that they are expired more than 2-3 days ago.
Not the biggest store. The fish and bakery sections are particularly impressive. Lots of parking available.nnThe fruit and veg are not in the best condition compared to other stores. Also from all the mainstream supermarkets it's in the higher priced category.
