Absolutely terrible experience with this surgery. My whole family, including my young children, are registered here — and every time we need help, it’s a nightmare. You can never get an appointment, and when my son is very ill, instead of speaking with real staff, I’m left dealing with a robot! The care is awful — they never prescribe anything other than paracetamol, no matter how serious the condition. Completely unhelpful and frustrating. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Easier to get a diagnosis on a car than try and get an appointment. When you've gone through the telephone system and waited forty minutes you are given a appointment with a doctor who you have never seen before and you should be greatfull.nWent to my appointment and described my symptoms but was told she could only talk about the symptom that I was presenting today.nI know there is something wrong but the surgery won't listen.nnWhat ever you do do not sign up with this surgery. To them it's about how many people they can get on the books for government funding.
Not very good service overall. Never have history of previous calls, dont help just seems they dont have enough qualified doctors and if they do they give a cant be bothered vibe. Rather go to a walk in that actually care for patients. Imagine bolking an appointment in mid July only to be told they have no record of the booking. Dont even try calling at 8am as you will be on hold for minimum of 30/40 mins.nUpdate-12/9 after 87 calls to get through and 58 mins no appointments available told to call back to do the same process again the next day. Waste of time. Terrible terrible service.
Since I changed from my previous GP to this one I had nothing but issues with them. They refused to accept the transfer of the shared care agreement that my previous GP had with the clinic, they won't guarantee that they'll accept another shared care agreement and they refuse to even write me a short letter stating that they won't fill my prescription medication which basically put me in the very bad situation of me being unable to get my medication due to current regulations. In my near 10 years living in UK I've been registered to a number of clinics but I've never seen one that would require me to wait a month for them to actually write a short 2 minute letter stating they won't fill my prescription so that I can go private. Tax money well spent, what can I say?
Great advice given to Myself for my daughter, from a very helpful member of staff in the pharmacy. SiannHighly recommended.
