Had a telephone appointment booked Thursday 29th May with Dr Rachel Lawrence, she hadn't called by 10am so I phoned the surgery, who assured me I was 'on the list' but no one called, or messaged me all day. I've just tried to call the surgery to talk about this, the receptionist who answered said 'hello, it's a bad line' a couple of times and hung up on me - the line was fine from my end, and when I called back imagine my surprise the surgery is closed for lunch! I am beyond furious, I am ill, my medication isn't working and I can't speak to a doctor. I don't imagine they'll read this review, as they clearly couldn't care less about me, their patients, or their reputation, but it's always good to vent some spleen.
My mum.is new to the practice. The G.P who she was attended by was fantastic and was very thorough. I am grateful that you cared so much. Thankyou.
Had an appointment with Dr Page. What a brilliant experience. She had time and patience and a good understanding of my issues.
Always had a great experience with this surgery. The new callback feature is great, saves you waiting for ages to get to speak to someone. Whenever they say a GP will call you back, it’s fast and efficient. Particular shout out to Huw Jones, he has been nothing but supportive and keeping me constantly up to date via text, this is vitally important for someone who suffers from health anxiety. Keep up the amazing work you do!
I don't have any problems with this surgery. People need to be civil. Yes can be frustrating trying get through as everyone calls at same time! If it's emergency go down or call 999.nTry booking appointments and order prescriptions as much in advance as possible.nThe practice website also allows you access to booking, need to look on it early. Also NHS app very useful for booking appts x
