A fantastic experience to visit inside St Paul's Cathedral. The architecture is incredible and there is so much to see. If you're feeling brave and athletic there are stairs - over 500- that take you to the very top of the dome. The views of the London skyline from there are incredible. Highly recommend to visit Saint Paul. Was one of my favourite place in London. Ticket was 25 pound, a bit expensive, but really worth it. So beautiful both inside and outside Recommend to visit morning time in week day, it’s less crowded. Also there is a small gift shop in B1. There are lots of Christmas vibe card and ornament.
Saint Paul's cathedral was on our little grand daughters 'to do' list when I agreed to show her around London recently. We visited one Thursday afternoon and we made our way directly to the entrance area to pay the entry charge and pick up the portable audio system. Being available in many languages we found this particularly useful to help bring the whole visit to life. We spent quite some time in the nave learning about the history of this wonderful place. Then, my 9 year old was keen to climb all the steps, firstly to the Whispering Gallery and then further up to the two other levels. They warn you that the stairs are narrow, winding and steep. I can confirm this! But the views of London from the top are stunning. We didn't spend so much time in the crypt area except to visit the restrooms which were clean and functional.
Disappointed..25 pounds for a mediocre church and a crypt full of tombs..you can spend your time and money way more useful than this place. It has no sacred flavor as the Westminster Abbey. If you can see the interior of only one place in London, let it be this. It's a very impressive cathedral. It's absolutely gorgeous. The ceilings are breathtaking. I did the tour, there wasn't a lot of interesting information on the audio guide. The climb up to the Golden Gallery is definitely something. It's quite steep and narrow, however there are multiple breaks for you to catch you breath. There is even seating. Photography is strictly prohibited in the Whispering Gallery, I don't know why. The audio guide says it's called the whispering gallery because if someone whispers to the wall from the one side of the gallery, you should be able to hear it if you put your ear to the wall on the opposite side. My friend and I tried this but it didn't work. I don't know if it was because of the noise from people around us. You can get some stunning panoramic views atop the Golden Gallery, I think it's definitely worth the climb.
The architecture is simply beautiful. There's something so serene about the cathedral. Spend at least an hour or two here to soak in all that beautiful architecture and history. The crypt was full of famous and notable individuals including Sir Horatio Nelson, the Duke of Wellington and Florence Nightingale. We also visited the whispering Gallery which was a climb of over 250 stairs but didn't venture any further up as think it would have killed me. An enjoyable experience! Very helpful people all about to answer any questions you may have.

Amazing historical place. Plenty to gaze and admire from walking through the perimeters of th outside as well as paid admission inside. If you hunger or in need of your quenching your thirst, the are a variety of cultural cuisines from street vendors, cafes, and restaurants. A beautiful cathedral with a large dome. So elegant. Did the tour inside,and also climbed all the way up. The stairs keep getting narrower as you reach the second level and the last stretch is just a metal staircase.
